Yep...This is My Life

Today my Grandfather passed away at the age of 91!!

He will be missed, but we all know that we will see him again one day.

Okay, I know its been a while since I've updated this blog, so please don't hate me (even anyone still reads this ;-) )

I've had a ton going on!! First off, my Mom and her BFF Jan came to visit in the beginning of October and were here for 4 days!! I had a blast showing my Mom NYC for the first time, plus she got a kick out of fabric shopping in the Fashion district!!!

Then, my 2nd oldest brother John came to visit, we hit up Central Park, Broadway (Wicked), and spent some good ole quality time together!!

Halloween was a big time for me. This was the first year I walked in the Annual NYC Halloween Parade!! What was I you ask... Vampire Lil Miss Muffett, however everyone thought I was Strawberry Shortcake. My friends though, had the best costume, they all went as character from the video game Mario Cart (with complete carts).

Other then that, I've been super busy at work, and trying to keep all my websites updated!!!

Next up is Thanksgiving, I'm hitting up the D.C. area to spend time with my Aunt & Uncle down there!!

P.S. Me on Halloween!!!

This fall = fun, warm, smokey looks. I recently heard about beautyADDICTS & figured I'll give it a whirl.

On a recent trip home to denver, I played with makeup & had a photoshoot.

Get the look using beautyADDICTS Motivate Fall line:

1. Starting with the Solution Eyes palette; start with lightest shade in the upper left corner. Apply this color all over the lid, from lash to Brow.

Next moving clockwise, apply the next shade from lash line to crease. Apply the "gray" shade in your crease going about 3/4 of an inch. Use the dark purple first in the outer crease bringing to the outer eye and bring down into the lower lash. Then you will also smudge the same color into your lash line after applying black liner to both upper & lower lash lines.

GC: Best makeup by staple from the L'oreal Color of Hope Collection?

CS: I think the whole collection should be in everyone's bag. $1 of every product sold goes to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF).

I designed the collection around Hope Teal (the color symbolizing ovarian cancer awareness and created 2 different looks that you can mix and match with.

The first collection is for adventurous and fun with the second collection being more everyday ready-to-wear, for all skin tones. What's nice about this collection is that you can wear just one or two pieces and look fabulous.

GC: What are the looks you've seen that you've been liking for the fall season?

CS: The red vamp lips (Dior Show) with not a lot of eye makeup. All the throwback's to the 80's that we've been seeing.

To coincide with National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, L'Oreal Paris' Color of Hope Cosmetics Collection will be available for purchase beginning in September 2009. The entire Color of Hope Cosmetics Collection will be available at mass-market retailers nationwide, including Walgreens, CVS, and Wal-Mart, while supplies last.

So NYC Spring 2010 Fashion Week just ended and it was awesome. This was the 4th Fashion Week since I've moved to NYC and the first one that I've gotten to be involved with anything!!!

It started off last week, when I got to go to the 'Abbey Dawn for Avril Lavigne' fashion show on Monday 9/14. The show was awesome and I saw Nikki Hilton and designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Next up was the Glamour Cow Fashion Week Launch Party @ the W Hotel!! The party was awmazing, we had such a good turn out!!! The pictures will be on the GC and MistiSchindele.com later this week. I brought out Brittany Lamson to shoot the event!!!

The week ended on a high note, when I got a last minute invite to interview Makeup Artist Collier Strong!!! If you don't know who that is, then let me explain, Collier Strong is the Head Consulting Makeup Artist for L'Oreal Paris and has been featured several times on the hit show Project Runway!!! He created a new line for L'Oreal Paris called the 'Color of Hope Color Collection' to support Ovarian Cancer Research!!! That interview will also be up on GC and MS later this week as well!!!

So there you have it, I got a fashion show, and interview and a fab party!!!

I also had an awesome time with Brittany and was soo happy she could make it out!!!

So I can kinda suck and took a total of 2 pictures on my recent trip to Denver!!! I know, I know but in my defense, I spent most of time running around trying to make sure I could fit everyone into my 4 day trip, the camera got left to the wayside!!!

Some pictures that you will be seeing up here shortly are the pictures I did for Jouer cosmetics and Beauty Addicts cosmetics!! One of my BFF's Brittany Lamson took the pictures and little sister Abby was our model!! The pics turned out awesome. The photoshoot was was the brought about by Elyse (GlamourCow.com), who either contacted or was contacted by Jouer to enlist me to come up with some Fall makeup looks for them!! Since I knew I was heading to Denver, I then enlisted Britt and Abby to join my little project, I wanted to do the professionally!!! It took most of the day on Saturday, but we followed it up with a lovely lunch at CPK!!

Next up on Sunday was my BFF's Jana's baby shower!!!! It was cute and all things baby!!! That was followed up by Dinner with my Mom & Jan!!

Other than that I was working, getting fitted for a dress my Mom made me for the Glamour Cow Fashion Week party and chillaxin in the Hot Tub!!!


I am officially done with traveling until Christmas!!! So right now it is focusing on the Fashion Week party and visits from my Mom & Jan in the early part of Oct and my Big Bro John (also coming in Oct)!!!

That's right, I'm arriving back in Denver very late Thursday night and I'll be around for 4 1/2 days!!!

My original plan was to attend my 10yr HS reunion, but after doing some thinking I've decided to skip out on that. The few people that I really wanted to see can't make it and I really don't feel the need to spend $90+ to hang out with people I'm not to fond of!!!

Anyhoo, my schedule for my weekend is

Friday - working from my parent house followed by hanging out with Dana and little Jacob that evening.

Saturday - Jour/Beauty Addicts Photo Shoot with Britt and Abby, followed by hanging with Brittany that night.

Sunday - possible CPK lunch with Abby, Jana's baby shower in the afternoon.

Monday - Working from the Denver office, followed by night with the rentals!!!

Tuesday - Fly back to NYC!!!

I would love to try to see as many of my friends as possible, so shoot me an email if want to try to meet for Coffee!!!

So this past weekend I flew back to New Mexico for Nikki & Sean's wedding!!! It was a pretty small wedding (10 people), but I was able to see not only Nikki, but Jana, Leandra, Wendy & Jim as well!!!

Saturday was the wedding, and then on Sunday Nikki, Sean, Jana and I went to the Botanical Gardens/Aquarium!!!

Some exciting news!!!! The beauty site I write for GlamourCow.com is having an official site launch party during the Spring 2010 New York Fashion week!!! This is a huge opportunity of both me and my friend Elyse (who runs the site). Since I'm a part of the GC site, I'm also going to be able to promote my own site mistischindele.com!!!

Also, I'm going to be starting a new Twilight Saga only website!!! A lot of people has asked for a twilight only website, so right now I'm trying to think of a good catchy URL and will go from there!!!

UPDATE: My new Twilight Saga only website is... TwilightFanSource.com!!! Hopefully I can get some content up there within the next 24-48hrs!!!

I'm very excited about both of these new ventures!!!

I think I've mentioned a few times now how excited I was to go to Comic-Con for the Summit Entertainment panel featuring the cast of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon'!!

Well, I am sad to say that this trip is no more :-(

Why you ask? Well my BFF Nikki (who is more like a sister) is getting married the next weekend in New Mexico, and seeing as how I'm still not raking in the millions of dollars, I had to give up Comic-Con for something much more important!!!

So, Even though I'm a little sad about missing Comic-Con, I would not have missed Nikki's wedding for the world!!

So Nikki, that is how much I love you, I'm missing Comic-Con and my love of all things Twilight just for you!!!

Yesterday was my 28th birthday and my friends and I gathered at 230 Rooftop in midtown!!!

Last week I traveled all the way across the country to Laguna Beach, CA to attend my dear friend Joanna's wedding!!!

I was so excited to go to this wedding, and it was fabulous!! I also got to spend a few days with my little brother TJ who I haven't seen since Christmas, spend on good time on the beach, and eat a ton on IN-N-OUT burger!!!

I finally have the pictures up from my weekend in Phoenix!!!

Most of my time was spent hanging out with my sister, bro-in-law and nephews. We hit the pool, did some shopping, hit up PF Changs, lots of Starbucks, and my fave In-N-Out Burger!!!! I was so happy about that, one of my top 5 burget joints and its only available on the west coast!!!


Ranger - My sister's crazy dog who has a strange love affair with me. You think he would have forgotten me in the year since I've seen him, but nope, he was kinds of crazy!!!!


This is what my nephews did when ever we were at the house. Caleb at the computer playing his flight simulator game, and Jacob on the XBox 360 playing some shoot up game!!! Not even their crazy Aunt could hold their attention for more then a few minutes!!!

What I didn't get a picture of (but wish I did) was the fact that out of the 4 days I was there Kay, Jacob and myself watched Twilight about 2 1/2 times!!! I am happy to say that Kay and Jacob are now Twilighter's, I'm so proud!!

I'm so used to being able to see nephews, sister and bro-in-law whenever I want, so I was so grateful to be able to spend 4 days with them. The next time I see them will most likely be at Christmas!!!

Next up is a trip to CA for my friend Joanna's wedding. Little bro TJ will be joining me and there will be lots of pictures from that trip!!!
